PENGGUNAAN  IN ORDER TO , IN ORDER THAT , SO THAT

IN ORDER TO( Supaya / agar /sehingga ) digunakan untuk  mengawali clause of purpose

In order to + Verb 1 + ……

Penggunaan in order to bias di letakkan di awal kalimat atau sebagai penghubung dua kalimat

Contoh :

I sleep earlier tonight in order to get up before down tomorrow.

He joined football academy in order to improve his skill in playing football.

In order to stay healthy , I will eat more organic food

In order to save a lot of time, they will go by plane to Jakarta.

SO THAT ( SEHINGGA / AGAR /  SUPAYA) digunakan dalam kalimat sebagai awal clause of purpose.

SO THAT + SUBJECT + MODAL AUXILARY +Verb 1 +….( full sentence )

He learns English everyday so that he can speak English fluently.

They practice football every afternoon after school so that they can win the next competition.

You must start working on your task immediately so that you can have more time to do it.

I think she must water the flower  regularly so that it can grow well.

IN ORDER THAT ( SUPAYA / AGAR / SEHINGGA ).Penggunaan di dalam kalimat sama dengan in order to / so that tetapi in order that mempunyai bentuk yang berbeda di dalam kalimat.

IN ORDER THAT  selalu diikuti oleh Clause ( S + V), seperti  terlihat dalam formula :

SUBJECT + VERB + OBJECT + IN ORDER THAT + SUBJECT + VERB1 + OBJECT + ……….

Contoh :

We should study hard in order that we pass the exam.

Many people in Jakarta decide to leave  their office late in the evening in order that they avoid traffic jam.

He works very hard in order that he is able to support his family.

In order that we pass the exam , we must study hard
