Procedure text adalah sebuah teks yang memberikan kita perintah atau instruksi untuk melakukan sesuatu.

Procedure text memiliki strukrtur, yaitu:

1) Goal: 

Memberikan informasi tentang maksud dan tujuan prosedur dan memprediksi suatu kesimpulan.

 

2) Materials: 

Berisi daftar materi atau bahan-bahan yang dibutuhkan untuk melakukan suatu prosedur atau langkah-langkah.

 

3) Step/instructions: 

Daftar urutan instruksi/aktivitas untuk mencapai tujuan dalam urutan langkah yang benar.

Ciri-ciri/characteristic

 

¤  mengunakan Simple Present Tense (S+V1)

¤  berbentuk imperative/bentuk perintah,

¤ menggunakan action verbs, contoh: make, take, boil, cook,

¤ menggunakan temporal conjunctions, contoh: First, then, next, after that, last

 

C) Tujuan Procedure Text

 

Procedure text sendiri dibuat mempunyai tujuan tertentu untuk pembaca. Tujuan teks sendiri bersifat komunikatif.

 

“The social purpose of procedure text is to show how something is done through sequence of steps which enable the reader to achieve the goal.”

 

Tujuan sosial procedure text adalah untuk menunjukkan bagaimana sesuatu dilakukan melalui urutan langkah yang memungkinkan pembaca untuk mencapai tujuan.

Tujuan dari teks prosedur adalah untuk memberitahu pembaca bagaimana melakukan atau membuat sesuatu melalui

 

How to Made of Lemon Tea 

Ingredients:

 

1 bag of Teabag

2 pieces of Lemon Orange

2 tsp of sugar

6 Ice Cubes

50 ml of hot water

150 ml of cold water

Steps:

 

Brewed Tea bag in 50 ml of hot water.

Add sugar, and then stir until evenly distributed.

Squeeze the lemon. Then, pour lemon juice into the tea.

Add ice cubes and add 150 ml of cold water.

Stir until the lemon juice mixes with the tea.

Add lemon slices as decoration.

Ice Lemon Tea is ready to be served.

SOAL / TUGAS  

                                                            How to Make a Cup Milo     

                   

Ingredients:

 

¤ Powdered Milo

¤ Hot Water

¤ Sweetened Condensed Milk

¤ Fresh Milk / Pasteurized Milk

Instructions:

1) First, put in about 4 tablespoons of Powdered Milo into a cup.

2) Second, add Hot Water until it reaches about 3/4 of the cup.

3) Third, stir and make sure all of the Powdered Milo is dissolved.

4) Next, add in 3 tablespoons of Sweetened

5) Condensed Milk and stir.

6) Then, add in some Fresh Milk / Pasteurized Milk. Its amount should be around 1/10 of the cup.

7) Finally, Add a little more Hot Water until nearly full and stir once more.
